Dr J Walter Sparks a former Carthage resident and longtime Greenfield dentist died last week in St Petersburg Florida where he had lived for 30 years. He married Myrtle Pierce of New Castle who predeceased him. Survivors include three daughters. Funeral services were at Pasco Memorial Mortuary Greenfield at 1 30 Friday. Interment followed at Park cemetery Greenfield.

The first U S heart study at Purdue to cut farm labor for heart patients will run five years with a $130000 budget funded by the Heart Foundation and Purdue.
