Carthage grade and high school pupils present a February 14 program at 8 p m in the school gymnasium with no admission. The show features the H S Band Junior Sextette grade ensembles and a Jr High Chorus performing marches songs and a patriotic medley.

Ora Bundy A Carthage Lad Made Name in Utah
Ora Bundy former Carthage boy rose to prominence in Utah as an engineer and public official. Born Oct 14 1881 in Carthage Indiana he pursued engineering at Purdue and built major projects across Utah Idaho Nevada and Wyoming. He led Kroft Bundy and later served as chairman of Utah Department of Publicity and Industrial Development and directed water resources planning while raising three children in Ogden with wife Dora.

Indiana sportsmen to return wildlife survey questionnaires
More than sixteen thousand Hoosier hunters fishermen and trappers receive questionnaires from the Pittman Robertson Wildlife Research Project. They are asked to report hunting and fishing activity and season catches to help compile state wildlife harvest data with random sampling from 15000 license holders and 1600 free permit holders. Last year's survey showed Hoosier hunters harvested five million pounds of ration free wild meat led by rabbits squirrels and quail.

Return of SGT Carl Carson Jr Home from Hospital
