Mr and Mrs Phillip R Davis of Franklin announce the birth of their son Kevin Jay on December 22 at Johnson County Memorial Hospital paternal grandparents are Mr and Mrs Roscoe Davis. Houseguests of Dr and Mrs George B McNabb from last Friday to Wednesday were Mr and Mrs Edward Allaire of Philadelphia PA. David McNabb of Bedford IN visited Dr Richard McNabb and sons. Christmas dinner was held at Dr Richard McNabb’s home with the McNabbs and guests.

Commercial Beef 44H Committee met in the County Extension Office to review five 4 H beef calf contestants. Christmas Seal Report in Rush County Tuberculosis Meet

Rush County Tuberculosis Association met at Mrs. Norman W. Alexander’s home with Lowell Hinchman presiding. Cecil Pike, campaign chair, reported receipts of 4,030.80, $200 below last year. $932.70 still needed to reach a $5,000 goal. A follow up letter was recommended for early January and mid January to prior contributors.
