DeSautelle's Original Royal Terrace Orchestra returns for a winter dance at the Auditorium Tuesday night. The popular group, known from radio, offers excellent dance music with singing. Dancing per couple one dollar, spectators and ladies without escorts twenty five cents. Time eight to twelve.

Indianapolis Christmas Party for Local Children
Mrs H. H. Foust hosted a weekend visit to Indianapolis. Thirty community children enjoyed a school Christmas party Monday night with Santa Claus present and a tree full of gifts. Everyone played games and had an enjoyable time.

The ceremony occurred about noon on Sunday at the Christian church in Charlottesville with Rev. Mr. Hoover officiating. Attendees included C. E. White and family, William P. Guests were served dinner by the Friends church ladies in the church basement for about one hundred persons.

Civil War Veteran William H Leisure Dies in Gwynneville
William H Leisure aged near eighty, a Civil War veteran and captain of Co K, 134th Indiana Infantry, died Tuesday morning at his Gwynneville home after a long illness. Survived by widow, seven children Carrie Wick er, Minnie Freeman, Alva J, Charles, Dora, John, Ed Leisure, and brother John F. Leisure near Carthage. Funeral Thursday at 10 at United Brethren Church Gwynneville with burial in Asbury Cemetery Morris town.
