Mays High Team Wins Rush County Crops Judging Contest
The Mays High School Vocational Agriculture team won the county crops judging contest held Saturday in the Rush County Courthouse. Rushville High School placed second with New Salem third and Carthage fourth. High scorers included Phil Hester Posey Township with 730 points and Thomas Schwendeman Rushville with 726. The two winning teams advance to the District Crop Judging contest in Indiana in March.
