Forty eight members and families attended the Rush County D H I A banquet on November 30 1965 at the Production Credit Association Building. Otis Willis was hired as cow tester for next year the 15th year in that role. Officers directors were re elected with Charles Ariens as chairman and Wilbur Hoeing as Holstein director. An Intensive Dairy Extension School on Dairy Cattle Breeding Tools was planned for February 8 15 and 24 with refreshments sponsored. A future annual tour with a neighboring county was approved and the Ice Cream Supper set for July 13 with the 1966 meeting on November 29. The Willis trophy honors the Hoeing herd for top milk and butter averages.

Rites Held For Henry Stinger Indiana historian dies at 82
Funeral services for Henry L. Stinger 82 were held in Indianapolis with burial in Glen Cove Cemetery Knightstown. A Rush County historian and museum benefactor he helped organize the Rush County Historical Society and served as president. He lived in Indianapolis and Carthage and owned a typewriter business on Meridian Street. He was a charter member of the Indianapolis Rotary Club and survived by his son and cousins.
