District Beef Cattle Demonstration At Rushville Noted
Indiana farmers from 13 counties and an Ohio county attended the August 21 district beef cattle feeders demonstration in Rushville. About 25 animals were shown comparing feeder stock with market ready cattle, with Purdue specialists Paul Mitchell and Kenneth McDonald leading discussions on feeds and prices. Local producers from Fayette Rush Decatur counties supplied cattle, with Cincinnati Livestock Producers aiding in selection. A weight and price contest attracted farmers, and Phil White of Rush county placed fifth. Supper guests included Mr and Mrs Doc Ray and other Ray and Whitfield family members.

Final Account of Ellen B McIlvaine Estate Filed
Ruth Musgrove as Executrix has presented her final account in the Ellen B McIlvaine estate Rush County Indiana. The Rush Circuit Court will examine the final settlement on October 8 1957 requiring all interested parties to appear and show cause why the account should not be approved. Heirs and others with claims must prove heirship or rights to any part of the estate.
