Mental patient causes disturbance near Charlottesville church
A mentally ill man on a short leave disrupted a Friends Church prayer meeting in Charlottesville last Thursday night. Franklin McCorkle, 30, a Madison State Hospital patient, was reportedly armed but that claim was later denied after his arrest in Greenfield. McCorkle formerly attended local schools. his family lives south of the church.
