Miss Janis Petry of Carthage R1 hosted a July 29 bridal shower at the Carthage Community Center honoring bride elect Roy Blessinger of Rushville. Pink and white decor, contests with a prize to Mrs. Joe Reeves and Mrs. Harold Davis, cake punch and mints followed opening gifts. Hosts were Mrs. Carl Davis Miss Marsha Magee and Mrs. Dahl Petry.
