Miss Susan Winslow who had a tonsillectomy at Hancock Memorial Hospital last week was taken back to the hospital Tuesday after suffering throat hemorrhages at her home on N Wood Street Greenfield. She underwent additional throat surgery and her condition improved Wednesday morning. Miss Winslow is the daughter of Mrs Claribel Winslow a former resident of Carthage.

Cicero Linville Dies At Rush Memorial Hospital
Cicero Linville 63 a farmer four miles northwest of Rushville died at 7 50 pm Friday at Rush Memorial Hospital after a period of ill health. Born February 13 1898 at Anderson he was married August 6 1913 to Flossie Beckner who survives. He was an elder of the Little Blue River Church of Christ and leaves two sons Harold and Howard a brother Russell and five grandchildren. Two sisters died earlier. Services were held Monday at the Little Blue River Church of Christ with Bro John B Johns officiating and entombment in East Hill Shrine Mausoleum.

Doctor Escapes Serious Burns In Basement Gas Furnace Incident
