Carlisle mine shot firer badly burned at work
Was Badly Burned. Will Cobb, the shot firer at the Carlisle mine, was badly burned about the face and hands Monday afternoon while performing his duties. The accident, as far as known, was caused by the firing of coal dust. Dr. G W Pirtle, the company physician, was summoned and attended the injured man. Cobb, who lives with Mr and Mrs Pleasant Jones, will be unable to work for two or three weeks.
