Soda Springs High School Spring Concert
Tonige The Soda Springs High School music department will present its annual spring concert in the high school auditorium on Thursday May 10 at 100 PM. Admission is 3.00 for adults and 50 cents for children and students. Proceeds fund scholarships to summer music camps for Soda Springs High School students. Performers include the band concert choir girls choir chorus and Soda Band.Director Wall and choral director Winifred Alldaffer invite the public to attend and support the scholarship concert.

Caribou County Man Charged With Murder
Sheriff Ralph J. Marriott of Caribou County Idaho filed a first degree murder complaint against R J Akins 39 of Grace Idaho alleging he shot and killed his wife Anna Arnold Akins 40. The shooting occurred shortly after 11 PM May 5 1973 at the couple's Grace residence. Akins was taken into custody and jailed awaiting arraignment in Magistrate Court May 7 1973 with no resistance offered. Deputy Sheriff Tom Blevins and Kelly Izatt assisted.
