The Farm Bureau of Caribou will participate in the Canty Talent Show at Grace. One junior winner and two senior winners will advance to the regional contest at Montpelier High School on July 15.

At a Monday meeting at Mrs. C D Simmons home Grace Literary Club officers organized future projects and prepared for the Twin Falls convention and national magn aize. They discussed buying the bishop's store house with a state library board grant covering 60 percent of the cost, requiring local funds first. Attending were hostess Vivian Simmons president Ruth Vary first vice president and Laura Rasmussen.
The ASC program requires farmers to certify acreage and comply with ASCS rules. Payments cannot be issued before July 1. Idaho declares a closed fire season outside cities effective May 10 1972. It is unlawful to burn forest or range lands without a burning permit. The Caribou County Volunteer Ambulance Organization, staffed by 11 EMTs, will operate 24 7 with four on duty to respond to calls. Mr and Mrs Floyd Langston of Soda Springs were delegates to the Veterans of Foreign Wars State Convention at Sandpoint June 7 11. Langston is Days at the convention officer and quartermaster of the Soda Springs Post and incoming district quartermaster. Mrs Langston is State Americanism Chairman for the WEW Auxiliary and local auxiliary junior vice president.
