Man Sentenced For Assault In Idaho Case
Ray Little of Soda Springs was sentenced June 4 to an indeterminate term in the Idaho penitentiary not to exceed 14 years by District Judge Francis J. Rasmussen. A Franklin County jury found Little guilty of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to commit murder for attacking Caribou County Sheriff Ralph Marriott with a knife at the sheriff’s home last February. Marriott wrested the knife away and subdued Little, suffering cuts in the struggle.
