Grace High hosts take down tournament and assembly
Grace High School held a two day wrestling take down tournament with four teams led by Soda Springs Cardinals scoring 106 and Grace 79 for second while North Gem and Cokeville tied at 63 for third. A following basketball win gave Grace a nine point victory over Rockland. A national assembly featured Attilla Galambe and his father who escaped Hungary and later studied in Tennessee and Tennessee University.

UP&L Offers Free Electricity For Holiday Lights
Utah Power and Light Company provides free electricity to illuminate about 72 000 lamps across 160 Utah Idaho and Wyoming cities and towns this holiday season. Burton C Martin reports the program covers city streets parks and stations where the firm operates its lines. Last year the utility supplied over 404 600 kilowatt hours to light nearly 72 000 bulbs in 160 communities including 10 000 bulbs in 31 towns in northern Cache Valley and southeastern Idaho.
