Contracts for Ban sewer project awarded to Edwin M. and Sons Soda Springs for land, P and E Concrete Falls for lift station and collection. HK Sons began lagoon work August 5, aiming to finish by early September with good weather. Break In Nets 500 In Tools At Grace Store

The Grace Branch store of Soda Springs Auto Parts was entered between 5:30 p.m. Saturday and 2:00 p.m. Sunday. Owner Clark Carlson of Soda Springs says $400 to $500 in tools and equipment were stolen. Paul Wilkinson of Grace spotted the break in from his auto repair shop behind the building. Thieves forced an entrance to the repair shop, then entered the store through a service window. Stolen items include several blue Walker hydraulic jacks, five of which were boxed and lacked handles, plus various New Britain hand tools believed taken to complete a set.

J Emerson Mabey chairman of the county ASC Committee announces barley will be included in the 1969 Feed Grain Program. The move reflects a tightened barley supply with August forecasts at 425 million bushels, 20 million above July 1 and 55 million above 1967.

Grace Man Graduates As Army Flier at Ft Rucker

Lysle C Barthlome 21, son of Mr and Mrs Lysle P Barthlome Grace, earned the silver wings of an Army aviator and was appointed a warrant officer July 16 after completing 16 weeks at the Army Aviation School Ft Rucker. He logged 210 hours of actual flying time and studied instrument flying flight planning maintenance tactical maneuvers and survival techniques.
