Soda Springs Golf Club Fun Event The Uobirac

The Soda Springs Golf Club hosts its annual fun event The Uobirac this weekend with play on Sunday and Monday September 1 and 2. A dinner and team auction occur Friday evening August 30 at the Cedar View Club. Members spouses and special guests are invited and the public may watch the final team matches Monday.

Soda Springs opens the 1968 football season Friday September 6 hosting Filer Wildcats in a non conference matchup. Coach Karl Elliott, who coached at Filer four years, aims for a solid start with a lean experience base and nine tough weeks ahead. Public Hearing on Idaho Air Pollution Rules Set

A series of informational meetings and a public hearing will discuss proposed air pollution control rules in Idaho. Hearings are Sept 11 at Idaho State University Pocatello, Sept 19 Lewiston, Sept 20 Coeur d Alene, with the public hearing Oct 4 at 10 am in Boise. Written or oral testimony is welcome.
