On Wednesday evening at 4:00 p.m in Howard Hill Elementary School all first graders parents of second grade pupils in the 1967-68 reading program taught by Steele are invited to attend the meeting designed to acquaint parents with the programmed reading program objectives. Burglars Hit Shuler Bros Co in Soda Springs
Burglars broke into Shuler Bros Co in Soda Springs late Saturday night. Losses included several hundred dollars of new tools a small amount of cash from the till and papers from the office safe. Entry entered via rear maintenance shop and a side window. Two boxes of tools were found behind the building. Police investigate with no leads yet.

Fifteen registered Holstein heifers from Marvin Prescott Harris Mickelson and co-owners are selected by Japan's Takachi Agricultural Co-Op and depart August 27. Delegates from Japan including Dr Tsunoda and Shimichi Matsuo inspect the herd during an Open House at the Harris Mickelson farm on August 19. The Idaho show circuit boosted the herd with top placements and prizes, highlighting the region as a top dairy source with annual averages surpassing $1,000 per cow.
