Frank M. Edwards of Carey Ohio will leave for Knoxville Tennessee to assume a plant manager post with Knox Porcelain Corp. He previously spent 12 years as a ceramics engineer and 10 years as plant manager at Porcelain Products Inc. He was elected a vice-president during a 2020 reorganization after John G Loy’s death. The Edwards plan to sell their home and recently completed a 8000 mile West coast vacation.

Donovan Lanning treasurer says the final drive has raised 2020 dollars as of Wednesday noon for the new athletic field fence leaving 800 dollars still needed. Seven of 31 districts reported with 24 remaining while Carey businessmen exceed 900 and the Kiwanis Club added 105 at last Friday's game. It is hoped funds will retire the field fence debt next week.
