Death of Mrs Lena Simonis at 45 after long illness
Mrs Lena Simonis died Thursday morning at her home on South Patterson Street after a prolonged illness from pemphigus a nerve disease. She was born Lena Orians in Salem Township October 2 1877 and died aged 45 years 11 months 18 days. She married Edward Simonis in 1900 who died in 1906 leaving one son Orville. Funeral services were held at Our Lady of Consolation Church with burial in St Josephs Cemetery. Pallbearers were six nephews. She leaves a mother one son and four sisters. She was active in Our Lady of Consolation Christian Mothers and Catholic Ladies of Columbia.

Head on collision injures two on foggy Upper Sandusky road

Family heads to California on two Ford motor tour

Foggy weekends spark car accidents near Fostoria

Car Fire Confines West Findlay Street Incident
About 9 30 Saturday evening the Chevrolet touring car owned by Lawrence Fenstermaker south of Vanlue was found on fire in front of the Joseph Shumaker residence on West Findlay street. Firemen arrived quickly and extinguished the blaze. The dash wiring and starter were ruined.

Auto crash ends trip for Sharpsville doctor at Lorain
Dr. John Twitmyer 80 of Sharpsville Pa died after an auto collision near Lorain Ohio two hours after the wreck. He had been touring with the Howard Carpenter family of Kinsman Ohio and the L D Trubey family. The car slid on a wet road and struck a tree. He had suffered heart leakage for some time. He was a cousin of Mrs. Trubey.
