Automobile Wrecks Bicycle Near Library

Raymond Stewart Critically Injured In Fremont Crash
Raymond Stewart 30, son of Mr and Mrs Alex Stewart, is hospitalized in Fremont Memorial with severe head and facial injuries along with multiple fractures after his 1935 Ford collided with a 7 ton truck driven by Edwin Larson in a three lane highway crash on Route 20. Emery 23 is also injured with a fractured spine. The eyewitness report notes the truck weaving prior to impact and the driver denies responsibility.

The Carey fire department answered two calls last night and early this morning. The first at 11 50 on Wednesday was from J B Wells's apartment in the Nathbar building on S Vanee street where rubbish ignited but caused no damage. The second at 3 25 this Thursday morning involved an AO depot fire caused by an overheated hot hoy and damaged material, with losses estimated at 350900.
