Death of Mrs. Amos Hart in Upper Sandusky
Katherine Hile Hart, wife of Amos Hart, died at her home southwest of Upper Sandusky from blood poisoning after a hand cut. Born December 12, 1882 in Harrisonburg Virginia, she married Amos Hart on September 29, 1901. Survived by husband, her mother, and siblings. a member of English Lutheran Church. Funeral held at English Lutheran Church Saturday afternoon.

A crowd gathered on South Street between Vancé Street and the Big Four last Friday afternoon as former Big Four workers from a floating gang celebrated after a layoff. Thomas Lavelin, Michael Murphy, and John O'Brien fought. Buckland and Corwin held arrests. Lavelin fined five dollars and costs. Murphy and O'Brien fined two dollars and costs each for drunken disorderly conduct.

Brodman Case Ends with Sanity Verdict for Judge Rowland Shooting
The trial of John Brodman concluded after jury deliberations with a verdict of shooting with intent to kill. The defense urged insanity, but witnesses and the State's experts supported sanity. Judge Babst sentenced Brodman to seven years, suspended pending appeal.

Monday night council members Kurtz Keller Johnson Dunlap and Chambers attended roll call with Laughlin the mayor and Angis the clerk. The oath of office was given to David Heck. Several bills were paid including Frederick for Young ditch work and others for labor and materials. The hose cart building is complete and ready for service. A bid from A J Frederick for Hook ditch construction totals 1547.95 with pipe and labor. construction awarded to Frederick.

Police Court Happenings in Saturday Sessions
Thomas Farley of Springfield, a Big Four freight conductor, was discharged by Trainmaster O C Wyman for leaving his train to visit a saloon. Farley was arraigned before Mayor Laughlin and fined 10 dollars plus 10 dollars costs. Luther DeWitt of Bellefontaine, a Big Four brakeman, quit his job and caused a disturbance when refused a pass. he was arrested, and the Mayor fined him 10 dollars plus 65 cents.

Inspectors Probe Egg Quality in Marion Retailers
