Reunions Draw Eakin Enders and Fahl Families Across Ohio
About 65 Eakin relatives gathered at Frank Eakin’s home 446 miles west of town for the first Eakin clan reunion. Frank Eakin was elected president, with David Goetz of Tiffin as vice president, Avery Akitt of Tiffin as secretary, and William Fox of Tint as treasurer. A second reunion is planned for 1926 at the Hakin home on the first Sunday in September. Separately, about 76 Enders relatives met at Carey Park, M. H. Enders named president for 1926, with Mrs. Thomas Baker vice president and Miss Bertha Nye secretary and treasurer. Upper Sandusky’s Harrison Smith Park will host the 1926 Enders reunion on the first Sunday in September, with C. C. Wenner president and George Sneeringer secretary-treasurer. The Corsman home near Upper Sandusky will host the 1926 Corsman reunion on the first Sunday in September.

Russel Nye Dead After Elevator Accident Injury
Russel Nye died Tuesday at Mercy Hospital Tiffin at 1:00 AM following a work accident on August 22 when a stone fell from an elevator at the lime plant fracturing his skull. Funeral services are set for 1:00 PM at his Brown Ave residence and 2:00 PM at St. Pauls church with burial at Zion Bloom. He was 31 with widow Waive Cole and two children Eldred and Carl. He is survived by his brother Orville Nye and sisters Mrs Forest Cole Mrs Walter Cole and Garnet Nye.
