The Wyatt residence at 318 W Findlay Street, one of Carey’s first homes, underwent interior and exterior remodeling. A full width porch with four colonial columns, Insulite siding over old siding, and a new roof banister enhance the exterior. Harry Wyatt lived there 40 years, now shares with his son Gordon Wyatt and family Rebecca, Virginia, and Gwendolyn.
The Wyandot County Fair starts Tuesday at 9 30 a m at the fairgrounds north of Upper Sandusky. The five day schedule includes trotting races, greased pig and lamb blocking contests, Hurricane Hell Drivers, Junior Fair shows, wrestling, a grand parade, livestock sales, and a Duke of Paducah show with food, crafts, and exhibits from local merchants and civic groups. Judging begins 9 a m daily except opening day.
A Tuesday forenoon meeting in the village council chambers evaluated progress by the National Lime and Stone Co. on air pollution controls. Executives led by C. Paul Palmer reported about 25000 dollars spent and a 90 day Batelle study extension while four kilns now burn exhaust automatically.

Bishop Hazen G. Werner of the Ohio Area Methodist Church will address the Wyandot County Fair religious service at 7 30 p m on Sunday September 9 at the fairgrounds grandstand.
