New Traffic Signal Installed at US 23-224 North of Alvada
A new automatic detector based traffic signal went into operation last Wednesday at the US 23 224 intersection north of Alvada. The device uses four detectors and memory to coordinate green signals for vehicles traveling up to 35 mph, with higher speeds waiting for the timing cycle. The project is expected to be completed in about three weeks.
