About 225 students from Wyandot Allen Auglaize Hancock Hardin Mercer Putnam and Van Wert counties attended. Charles Laudenslager helped plan the program with films talks by safety officials and a judge a luncheon and a youth traffic court. Group discussion closed the program. Police investigated two minor collisions Saturday and Sunday. Linus Billock struck a 1957 Chrysler in an alley behind 502 E Findlay Street, with $30 damage to his 1957 Ford and $25 to the Chrysler. Charges of reckless operation were cited against Billock.

Memorial observances fill churches in tribute to slain President John Fitzgerald Kennedy. The Solemn Requiem High Mass at 11 05 a m drew Catholics and Protestants. Findlay Youths Apprehended Here in Barbershop Stop
Two 15 year old runaways from Findlay were nabbed at a South Vance Street barbershop by Police Chief W R Jacob around 9 am Saturday after a tip they sought Miami bus tickets. In custody at the Municipal Building one carried a knife and the other a loaded .22 pistol. One boy had alleged prior break ins and the other multiple offenses. they gave fictitious addresses. Local officers from Findlay and Carey aided in the arrest.

Wyandot County Historical Society was selected among 133 societies to join the Ohio Institute on State and Local History program in Canton. Director Irvin Tschantz outlined Wyandot's history and museum, Otto Vent described goals and progress in restoring the building, with slides showing staff at work. Over 100 representatives gathered at Stark County Historical Center for the annual session. Improvements include an outdoor antique lamp at 130 S Seventh Street and building repaint and roof repair. Membership is open with a $1 fee supporting preservation. Directors donate services and have catalogued numerous exhibits.
