4 H Clubs Honor Achievement Week in Wyandot County
4 H clubs observed Achievement Week November 5 to 11 with a display of club projects certificates and awards in the Ohio Fuel Gas Co window. About 650 county 4 H members and guests gathered for Achievement Night November 2 at Upper Sandusky High School. Norman Collet and Gaylord Derr led a program themed the Three Rs versus the 4 Hers.

Administrators Sell Carey Area Properties in Auctions
On Saturday October 28 an 80 acre farm four miles north of Carey owned by the Peter Shultz estate sold at public auction. Mary Celesta Gardner and Richard N. Shultz administrators bid it in at 307 dollars per acre. On November 4 Cetus and Mary Trausche east of Carey bought the residence at 3121 Grove Street for 2550 dollars. Harry A. Police officer attends regional law enforcement school
Vincent Jacob a Carey policeman returned from the prison farm at Qiondon where from October 16 to 27 he attended a school for law enforcement officers. Forty-one men enrolled. The Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation hosted the program with fingerprint science photography firearms and identification training. Certificates were awarded by Judge H Lamneck director of public welfare Ohio.

Infant Graveside Rites Held Near Carey
Graveside rites for the stillborn infant son of Earl and Margaret Robison of southwest of Carey were conducted at 2 00 p m Friday in Spring Grove cemetery. The Rev John A Root of Christ Lutheran Church officiated with Goff funeral home in charge. The baby died at birth at Findlay hospital and is survived by parents a brother Ronald and grandparents C E Robison of southwest of Carey and Carl Bachman 220 East South street.
