On Thursday morning October 30 Agriculture classes toured Cook-Walton Angus farm west of Carey. Mr. Cook described herd operations, feeding program, and housing of his beef herd, with the trip proving educational and interesting.

F H A members host a potluck for members and parents on November 10 at 6 30 pm in the high school cafeteria. A play titled The Turkey Globbers will be performed by F H A members and a king queen and princess will be chosen from among fathers mothers and members. Miss Hack serves as advisor.

Y Teens held their first meeting on Monday October 26 to form an a capella choir and discuss Juvenile Delinquency. The gathering opened with devotions followed by a short business session and ended with a friendship circle.

Lutheran leaders to speak at Findlay Post Hannover event

Dr Joseph Sittler delegate from United Lutheran Church in America to the Lutheran World Federation Assembly in Hannover will address the Post Hannover conference at Trinity Lutheran Church Findlay tonight at 8. Rev Theophil Arthur Kreuger of the American Lutheran Church and Rev John A Root chair the program. Several local auto loads will attend. Dr Littler born in Ohio studied at Wittenberg College and Ham­ma Divinity and has taught systematic theology at Chicago Lutheran Seminary since 1943.

Electric service restored after two circuits burn

Electric service in Carey was disrupted at about 4 a m when an Ohio Power line broke and a pole burned to the ground. Crews shifted to an emergency line and restored service about an hour and a quarter later. The cause was undetermined.

Carey Halloween Party a Grand Community Victory

Carey residents enjoyed a well attended Halloween festival with prizes totaling about 150 dollars. Miss Mary Kaye Bishop led the grand costume win while others received cash awards for robot, bedtime scene, and group displays. Ohio court upholds 12000 damage award in Wyandot county crash

The Ohio Supreme Court refused to review the appeal of S. L. Powers and let stand a 12000 damage award to Berteena Haws for the death of her husband John Haws and two others in a truck automobile collision August 5, 1950 at the Route 00 N and 281 intersection between Upper Sandusky and Bucyrus. The case involved claims the truck swerved into the westbound car and no witnesses testified to the crash.

Jury Awards $12,000 Damages in Wyandot Case

The Wyandot county common pleas court in Upper Sandusky, presided by Judge Russell H Kear, awarded $12,000. The decision was upheld on appeal by Judges Guernsey Middleton and Ahl and affirmed by the Ohio Supreme Court with T D Romig as jury foreman. Mrs. L. L.
