Crestline Man Fined for Passing School Bus

George A Gibbs dies at 86 in Michigan
George A Gibbs former Carey resident died Wednesday October 25 at the home of his daughter in law near Huron Michigan at age 86. His son Verne Gibbs of Homer had died a few weeks earlier. Funeral services were held Saturday October 28 in Marshall Michigan. Gibbs was a Civil War veteran. Ed Gibbs of this place and Fred Gibbs of Vanlue are nephews.

Paul Herbert of Columbus will address Armistice Day celebrations at the Carey High School auditorium Saturday November 11 at 1500 hours. Howard Clinger, 21, of 318 S West Street, was pulled from the Blanchard River near the Main Street dock shortly before 8:00 AM Wednesday. He had worked at Ohio State University's medical dispensary and sought work at Findlay’s Home and Hospital. He was treated at Barnhart ambulance and released from the hospital last night.
