Carey Hi Champions Lead in Ada Sectional Track Meet

Carey Hi won Class B with 38 points led by Trubey’s three firsts and a total of six firsts for Carey. Bucyrus Hi took Class A with 45 points, St. Marys second with 38, both earning silver cups. Ada meet named many individual winners across 12 counties, with Carey gaining a large silver loving cup and earning资格 to Columbus events.

Memorial Day Exercises Plan Parade and Graves Decoration

Memorial Day events on May 30 begin with grave decorations led by the Grand Army of the Republic aided by the American Legion. Flowers should be donated or brought to Legion rooms by 8 30 a.m. The parade forms at 1 30 p.m. from the library, moving to the park with units including Civil War and Spanish American veterans and school groups. A program at the park features addresses by Theodore Rosen and others, with music by the Vanlue band and a male quartet. Committee meetings are set for 7 p.m. Friday May 25 at Legion rooms.
