Surveyor platts Zion Bloom cemetery addition
Surveyor S B Gillette spent several days last week platting a two acre addition to Zion Bloom cemetery southwest of the city in Hancock county. He divided the new section into 448 lots ten by twenty feet each. One thousand and ten cement blocks mark lot corners. Gillette recently added a transit with stadia wires to his surveying gear and went Saturday to McCutchenville to survey a road for pik ing.

Former Resident Reappears Seeking Printing Office
Xuan, an ex-resident, rushed into the office last Saturday to buy a printing office. The person is identified as R. E. Dunaway of Three Rivers Michigan, once an early acquaintance in Carey, founder of the Old Dominion peanut stand now run by Byron Zuck. He traveled to Logan County on Monday to visit relatives.

Delegates Attend District Conference in Columbus Grove

Distinguished Visitors From Cleveland Visit City
The Wholesale Merchants Association of Cleveland spent Friday in the city on a four train extended trip along the Big Four lines. Eighty eight members arrived at 11 30 in special cars and toured the business district visiting potential partners. Five members connected with the printing industry called at this office while others visited the shrine of Our Lady of Consolation with Rev Father Mizer. The party planned to continue to Findlay Fostoria and Tiffin before returning to Cleveland.

George Baughman found a 1794 Spanish half dollar while cleaning a cellar. The coin is thin from wear and reflects silver scarcity of the era. It was discovered among old items believed lost there.
