Korean to Speak in Carey Sunday
Miss Chill Kim of Korea and Ohio Wesleyan University will speak on A Christian's Answer to the Korean Conflict during the church school hour at 9 30 a m Sunday in First Methodist Church Carey. She was born in Pyeongan Korea and studied at Ewha Womans University Seoul where she directed the girls dormitory from 1943 to 1949 then came to the United States. She plans to teach at Ewha again next year and serves on the national Y W C A board and was a delegate to the YWCA world conference in 1950. She is a sought after speaker through Y W C A conferences and radio appearances in cities including Cincinnati. She will be a guest of Ohio Wesleyan student Miss Joan Cole and invites all to attend.

Wind Storm Lifts 500 Bushel Corn Crib at Hosafros Farm
A Saturday night wind storm lifted a 500 bushel steel corn crib at the Hosafros farm west of Carey, carrying it 50 feet over two fences. The roof was demolished and debris scattered to a field at the Romig farm a quarter mile away. The crib can be straightened and re welded. The Doppler family resides on the farm.
