Fire at Frank Zenders destroys room and rafters
Last Sunday afternoon about three thirty fire broke out in the south eastern part of the city at the residence of Frank Zender. It was in a room rented to William Hart and Wesley Hendricks with John Frederick present. Fire origin unknown though suspected from a gasoline stove. The blaze scorched the ceiling and rafters of the tin roof. Firemen forced a roof hole to reach the flames and finally extinguished the blaze. no injuries reported.

On Monday afternoon O. N. Copley brought a mysterious object to the office. It resembles a large tooth, dark greenish black and partly polished, measuring three and a half inches by three inches.
