Kitchels Injured In Collision Near Carey
Mr and Mrs Frank Kitchel and their two children Patsy and John were injured in a Tuesday morning truck auto collision five miles northeast of Carey on Route 509 near Wenner bridge. Mrs Kitchel suffered severe forehead laceration and rib fractures but was off the critical list by Wednesday. Patsy, 4, had a severe forehead bruise. John, 11 months, a severe head bump but discharged later that day to be cared for by relatives. The other driver, Thomas T Arwood of Fostoria, escaped injury. his truck caused fence damage on the Wenner farm. Bristoll’s ambulance transported the family to Blanchard Valley Hospital.
