Local Red Cross Blood Drive Brings 77 Pints to Carey
Last Thursday the Cleveland regional Red Cross bloodmobile visited O L C School in Carey. 75 volunteers signed in with 9 walk ins and 7 refusals, yielding 77 pints. Five new gallon donors raised Carey's total to 22 donors giving at least a gallon. Notable donors include Rev Walter Marks and Donald Keller among others from Our Lady of Carey Seminary and area towns.

Mrs. George Shuman remains in critical condition at Baptist Hospital Jackson with a fractured neck vertebra, broken ankle, concussion, broken ribs and other injuries from the March 8 Pickens Miss crash.
