Roy C. Howard, 65, of 243 High Street, died of a heart attack at home Saturday March 12. He owned the Howard Dry Cleaning, was a Christ Lutheran Church member and a Yoder Fellows Lodge member. Born October 21, 1900, in Mt. Blanchard, he is survived by his wife Ova. a son William. sisters Lela Cross and Oral Hartman. a brother. and six grandchildren. Mr and Mrs Homer P Vince reportedly lost all their household possessions in a fire last Saturday morning at 530 two miles sou of Sycamore. The home on land owned by David J Needs was a total loss with aid from Sycamore and McCutchenville fire departments. Red Cross workers were called for emergency help and details on the Vince children were not available.

Garey School holds its first science fair March 21 in the gym with about 400 projects on display. Judging starts at 3 pm. students must stay with their projects until judged.
