New Ford Damaged After Collision Near Marion
Wm. Donelson's new Ford sedan was badly damaged Sunday night when Rex Donelson dozed and the car struck a telephone pole turning turtle. Donelson escaped serious injury with minor facial scratches. The car was towed to a Ford service station for repairs Monday morning. Classmates starring Richard Barthelmess screens at the Strand Monday and Tuesday, notable for its unique West Point Military Academy setting.

Boy Hit by Car on North Street Near Toledo Street
Four year old John Starkey son of Mr and Mrs Charles Starkey was struck by a slowly moving automobile driven by LN Baumgardner on North Street near Toledo Street. The child was not seriously injured though one ear was cut by a sharp part of the vehicle after the horn was honked to scare away a dog.

Rites Held for Foster Breitigam Aged Two in Vanlue
Foster Phillip Breitigam aged two years one month and 25 days died Monday morning from whooping cough and pneumonia. Funeral services were conducted at the home by Rev Constien of the Vanine church, with burial in Lee cemetery under CF Sutter. He was a nephew of Mrs Nellie Still of Carey, the mother being her sister.
