Mishap near Carey injures two on Sunday
Wyandot County deputies investigated a Sunday crash 4:45 p m about 2 miles northeast of Carey on Wyandot 5. Joseph W Tiell 25 Tiffin driver of a 1950 Chevrolet was hospitalized for lacera tions and abrasions. Kenneth A Myers 18 Tiffin a passenger, treated for leg injuries and released. Tiell was cited for reckless operation after losing control on a left hand curve, car rolled several times and ended top side down.

Robert Howard Postal Clerk Dies Suddenly
Robert Carl Howard 49 of 210 W North Street died at 5 30 pm Tuesday March 9 1965 from an acute coronary occlusion. He worked 27 years at the Carey Post Office and never missed a day. Born January 22 1916 in Carey he was the son of Albert and Cora Fosty Howard. Survived by his mother and sister Elizabeth Redick of Cleveland. A World War II veteran he belonged to the American Legion Earl Green Post Eagles Lodge 101st Airborne Division Association and the Carey Conservation Club. Funeral Friday at 2 pm Memorial EUB Church with Rev Robert Jones. Burial Spring Grove Cemetery Bristoll Funeral Home in charge.
