He married Flossie Shutt March 21 1914 who survives with four children Hershel Jr Carey William Bascom Kernie Anna Hall and Mrs Robert Fanni Rathburn 14 grandchildren 12 great grandchildren and brother Godfrey Conner of Columbus. Funeral services will be held today at 1:30 p.m. from Moore Funeral Home Sycamore with Rev Ermmest Dalbert officiating. Burial will be Pleasant View Cemetery Sycamore.
