Boy burned in kitchen bakery gas oven blast

In Upper Sandusky a 48 inch ice crown formed atop a city water works stand pipe during the blizzard Sunday night. Mrs. Barbara Engel, widow of John K. Engel, died at her home in Upper Sandusky Tuesday morning. The Wyandot County Improved Live Stock Breeders' Association was organized in the city with 18 members. The Upper Sandusky council decided no public funds remain for band concerts next season, relying on private contributions. A guardian for Ephriam and Maggie Fenner was sought in probate court amid a harsh description of the farm and disputes over ownership and guardianship.
