City Health Officer Charles M Tobin and County Health Commissioner N Sifritt visited Caledonia Thursday and fumigated thirty two graves. The action aims to move remains farther back in the cemetery and thoroughly fumigate to prevent any possible danger from old cholera deaths long ago.
Next Tuesday evening the Findlay team of the Rebekahs will visit Carey to initiate several candidates. A group of Findlay members will accompany them and the local lodge has arranged to serve a six o clock dinner.
The Grant Karr agency reports Hugh B. Kurtz to Mrs. James E Young of Indianapolis at N Patterson St for 2500 with possession April first. Mrs Young and Ruth to move from Indianapolis after winter with Frank and Slemmer parents. John Greene sells to WM Warr residence on E Brown Ave for 1800. Greene buys Warr’s 24 acre farm west of town for 4000 and moves out April first. sale public March 11.
The Farm Bureau under the county agent plans three countywide demonstrations to treat hog parasites. Sessions will be on March 2 at H. J. Cross farm Sycamore township, March 3 at Oscar Berg Salem township, and March 3 at Dwight Fowler Pitt township near Little Sandusky. A night meeting is set for Eden township March 2 at Eden Centralized School and another at Upper Sandusky March 3 in the courthouse assembly room, with a swine extension specialist attending each event.
Rev. Joseph Denning pastor of St. Mary's Marion will resign to become United States consul at Rome after Harding's inauguration. Archbishop Henry Moeller of Cincinnati approved the request and Denning would be the first Catholic priest to hold the Rome post. Denning recently returned from Europe and Rome after visiting the Pope.
A farmers' organization forms a cooperative produce station in Carey to handle cream and eggs. It will operate on a quick cooperative plan with a nominal membership fee, no stock or dividends, and funds used for equipment and collateral. Produce sold to the highest bidder, farmers receive the bid minus marketing costs.
The Tiffin and Fostoria moving picture show owners and managers faced Probate Court after informations filed Tuesday. A. J. Ritzler of Lima was exempted after arranging a bond. Bonds set at 10 each. defendants released on their own recognizance. Trial scheduled for March 7 at 10, with preliminary hearings by February 28.
John A Key of Marion was elected president of the Hines Oil and Gas company based in Oklahoma City. Since retiring from Congress two years ago, Key has pursued oil lands and affairs in the southwest.
Mrs Harvey Wonder expresses gratitude to the Dorcas Bible Class and friends for flowers and sympathy cards received during illness at Robinwood Hospital.
The legislature adjourned for a recess and will resume sessions after the inauguration on March 8. Members take a pause before reconvening to continue business and legislation.

William Hart of the American Cities Bureau narrowly missed a Porter Indiana railroad wreck. He read of the disaster, shuddered, and credited providence for his last minute choice to stay in Sanctuaky rather than board the ill fated train. Secretary Abell praised his luck as a Job like escape.

It lists books, papers, monthly bulletins and circulars on vegetable culture floriculture and greenhouse management. Also notes bulletins from the U S Department of Agriculture in Washington D C.
A general strike on the Mexicani National Railroad set for Friday at midnight is viewed by Mexican observers as the first major test for President Obregon’s government. Indications were stated unofficially that Obregon and his administration would meet the challenge.

Maurine Du Bois died suddenly at his mother’s Findlay home after a brief illness of stomach and heart trouble. He was 30, married last June to Gertrude Windau, with a son Rene John born last May. The Buckeye Press Association met in Columbus at the Niel House for a nearly record attendance over Thursday and Friday. Sessions included college of journalism program and a tour of the State Journal building. Wyandot county earned two offices with H. C. Ramsdell named fourth vice president and Eloise Thrall elected recording secretary.

Last Sunday the revival moved from United Brethren to United Evangelical, yet the hall filled 20 minutes before start and the opening hymn began early. Thirty conversions have occurred with steady interest and likely another week of meetings. The music remains a highlight as ministers deliver strong sermons.
Carey High fell 24 to 0 against Arcadia at the water works pavilion citing missing regulars. Humbert led Carey with 4 points while Trubey Essex and Spaid added 2 each. Carey’s lineup included Humbert Trubey Essex Heck Ogg and Spaid. Tonight Carey meets Sycamore High at Sycamore.
Post office inspectors report the arrest of Charles Schultz in the Toledo mail holdup where about 1.6 million dollars was stolen from a truck by five bandits. Joe Urbaytis Frank Urbaytis and Frank Culbert remain jailed on bail set at 100000 each while authorities had raised bail previously from forty five thousand.
A special cabin left Marion this morning carrying several hundred residents to attend the presidential inauguration. Senator and Mrs. Harding departed last night. Floyd-Strom fills the vacancy as street cleaner created by Caleb Dietelbachs death.
