The Rev. D. W. Whitenack and Mrs. Whitenack settle in at 333 5 Findlay Street parsonage. He has served a six year pastorate at St James Toledo and previously led Clarksburg Ross County Arcanum Pickerington Homestead Dayton. Scotch-Lite bicycle safety tape campaign to be completed

Charles William Ritter Wounded in Korea

Mr and Mrs Luther Ritter of Newhard street received a telegram from Lt Gen TM Silverthorn noting their son Pfc Charles William Bill Ritter was wounded in action in the Korean area on June 18. Cow Killed by Tractor On Route 23 North Of Carey

A cow owned by P. M. Tracey was struck and killed by a tractor and trailer on Route 23 about 3 am last Thursday, a quarter mile north of the Wyandot Seneca line. Steve J. Szymanski, 30, Cleveland, escaped injury as his truck’s front end was damaged. About the same time Carl V. Wren, 25, of Tiffin, rolled his car after failing a curve on Route 23 near the county line. he was treated and later released from Mercy Hospital, Tiffin.
