Carey Board Appoints Parfitt to Lead Music Program
The Carey board of education has hired Donald Parfitt of Lucas to replace William Holloway as the music teacher and band director. The summer concert series begins Wednesday July 1 at 8 30 p m with a 8 00 o clock pre rehearsal for band members. A first rehearsal is set for Tuesday June 30 at 7 30 and seniors must attend. Individual and group lessons will continue on the same Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday forenoons until further notice.
