Doubles Shuffleboard Winners Crowned At Club Clash
Last Friday night the club held its regular tournament with Dorcas Donelson and Mary Pieracini defeating Denver Donelson. In the consolation game Lloyd Long and Leé Yentzer beat Pearl Donelson and Cy Williams. Memorial Day featured a Decoration Day tourney and potluck supper followed by a turkey shoot won by Mary Shiley. Robert Smith and Harold Shiley won the post-supper tournament defeating Dorcas Donelson and Henry Pieracini. Cy Williams and Irma Smith won the consolation. Carey hosts the annual Arch Donelson Memorial Doubles on June 6–7 with local and out of state players competing for the traveling trophy.
