Rev Kenneth Ladd Named Chaplain at Maumee Youth Camp

Rev Kenneth Ladd and his wife Kay with children Kristine and Kevin relocate to 234 East Superior Street Wauseon to lead the religion department at Maumee Youth Camp near Liberty Center and Grand Rapids Ohio. The camp a 120 boy facility under the Ohio Youth Commission since 1966 offers school classes athletic programs counseling and now a full religious program. Ladd a ordained Itinerant Elder and former pastor chaplain has served eight years in the Ohio Sandusky Conference and holds degrees from Bluffton Huntington and United Theological Seminaries. He will oversee chapel Bible classes religious counseling community contacts and volunteer services statewide.

Knights Host Hamburgers for Carey Knights of Columbus Fry

New Street Sweeper Arrives for Village Use

A reconditioned street sweeper arrived this week for the village. Formerly in Bucyrus, it was overhauled and repainted in Cleveland. The Carey village machine is for sale, engine needs repair. Vanlue Homecoming Plans Set With Aug. 1 Parade

Plans for Vanlue Homecoming on August 1 and 2 include a 6 30 p.m. Thursday parade led by Robert King.
