The Flow er Deaconess Home and Hospital board let the contract for the Cin darella Carey Brown Memorial building on the Stevens W Flower property at Collingwood and Cherry. FEji Riffner is general contractor for 15 000 dollars. Architect Manfred Stophiet designs a French renaissance style building with two wards and 34 to 40 beds. Construction to finish by November 15 with plans for six more similar buildings to follow next spring. Reverend B A Harfard leads a campaign to raise 20 000 dollars from the lower estate while Edwin Brown adds another 5 000 dollars as interest grows in creating a major Methodist hospital in the west.

Troop K Camped at Carey on Departure from Findlay
