Rubber Plant Sold At Auction After Receiver Sells
About 50 people attended the sale of the Liberty Tire Corporation plant Saturday. B W Wulff of Marion, the receiver, acted as auctioneer. Ralph Moore of the Buckeye Commercial Bank at Findlay bid it in for the Studebaker Wulff Co of Marion at 43000. The property had been appraised at 230000. Stockholders had invested about 300000 in the business. Debts of the company total around 100000, so stockholders will not fare lavishly.
