Married in Kentucky Ralph Hill Weds Opal Bingle

Ralph Hill son of Mr and Mrs C C Hill of Adrian wed Opal Bingle daughter of Mr and Mrs Forest Hingle of Newhard St in Augusta Kentucky on Monday June 25. They were joined by the groom’s mother and by his brother in law and sister Ed Faber and family. The ceremony used a single ring and the bride wore blue georgette. The groom works as a truck driver for Carey Mill and Elevator Co and the couple will reside in Carey.

Firecracker Injury Endangers Boy’s Sight Near Town

Frederick Kohmann son of Mr and Mrs John Kohmann east of town suffered severe eye injuries from a firecracker on his way home. Doctors at Mercy Hospital Tiffin initially feared pupil burn but later found a blood clot in front of the pupil. He already lost sight in his right eye as a small child.

Village Council Adopts June Bills and Schedules Budget Hearing

Regular session with Mayor Byers and council members approved numerous bills for June including electric energy, coal, wages, repairs, and supply costs.
