Injured McLaughlin in Dayton Traffic Crash
Isadore McLaughlin of 678 West Street remained in Miami Valley Hospital Dayton after a 3 am Saturday crash 10 miles north of Dayton. He suffered four leg fractures head injuries and other trauma. his condition improved slightly Tuesday but consciousness is incomplete. The crash involved a Buick failing to stop and another vehicle that ran over Mr McLaughlin dragging him 25 to 30 feet. the intoxicated driver was later arrested on bail.

World War II veteran Charles W. Lauwdenslager, partially disabled by war injuries, took delivery of a 1952 Buick Model 45R Riviera on June 21.
