John William Niederkohr 29 of 2719 Morris Ave Bronx New York died in Bronx Hospital following an emergency appendectomy. Born Aug 29 1927 near Carey Ohio he lived in Carey and Upper Sandusky before moving to New York a year and a half ago. He was survived by wife Leigh Zentner son Gary parents William and Laura Niederkohr and many siblings. Funeral services at St John Church Bronx with burial in parish cemetery. Requiem mass at Our Lady of Consolation Church locally today.

Carey's lifelong resident Mrs Idella Cat 79 died of a heart attack at 1 30 p m Monday January 28 1957 at the home of her son in law and daughter Mr and Mrs Vernal Healey 308 East Findlay Street She was born August 8 1877 and wed Charles C Carr who died December 2 1947 Surviving are two daughters Grace Rish Marion Indiana and Jestine Healey three grandsons four great grandchildren and she was the last of nine siblings Funeral services were conducted at 2 o clock Thursday at Goff Funeral Home with Rev Walter Marks Memorial EUB Church officiating Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery.
